Directions to the Edward Ball Nature Trail and UWF Poetry and Art Nature Trail

The Edward Ball Nature Trail is located on the main campus of University of West Florida. Entering the campus from University Drive, turn left on Campus Drive and follow Campus Drive for approximately 0.5 miles until you turn left into Parking Lots F and G. Follow signs for the Edward Ball Nature Preserve. The entrance to the Nature Trail boardwalk is behind Crosby Hall (Bldg 10).
To locate the UWF Poetry and Art Nature Trail (also labelled on the signs as the “Valley” trail), follow the boardwalk and at about halfway around the boardwalk path (from either entrance point) you will exit the boardwalk and follow the path (walking away from the water) for approximately 0.25 miles until you reach the Nature Trail trailhead and large trail map. Facing the map, turn left and follow the trail for approximately 0.1 miles. The UWF Poetry and Art Nature Trail will begin on your right when you reach the intersection for Valley trail.
